Trump Launches Campaign in New Hampshire and South Carolina – He’s ‘More Angry’ Than He Ever Was
Trump is on the trail again and held a campaign event in New Hampshire and South Carolina on Saturday. He officially kicked off his 2024 White House bid and his platform seemed pretty clear.
“I’ve got two years… I’m more angry now and I’m more committed now than I ever was,” the former president said.
He gave a speech to hundreds of Republican leaders in New Hampshire speaking for 55 minutes. He focused on President Joe Biden, fentanyl, and the chaos at the southern border.
He also hit these issues: Voter ID, the “woke” military, biological men playing in women’s sports, and Hunter Biden’s laptop which was falsely called “Russian disinformation.”
The former president said that Democrats “hate our country” and are allowing a record number of illegal immigrants to cross our border. Trump said that it was time to “wage war” on the drug cartels.
Trump defended the way he handled classified documents at his Florida home and said that the documents were “sealed” and “not laying all over the garage floor.” This was a reference to what was found in Biden’s Delaware home garage.
The former president took the opportunity to call Biden’s home a “pigsty.”
While Trump was in South Carolina, he spoke at the Capitol building in Columbia, South Carolina. He stood with Governor Henry McMaster and Senator Lindsey Graham.
His speech was similar to the New Hampshire speech, but he said several times that Democrat policies are like “April Fools’ Day,” because “they do just the opposite of common sense.”
Former President Trump said, “We need a fighter who can stand up to the Left, can stand up to the swamp, stand up to the media, stand up to the deep state, am I allowed to say, ‘stand up to the RINOs’ too? I think we can say that.”
