Trump Visits Grocery Store While In Pennsylvania
In a heartwarming moment during a visit to a local grocery store in Pennsylvania, former President Donald Trump surprised a mother of three with a small but generous gesture, covering part of her grocery bill.
The scene unfolded at Sprankles Neighborhood Market in Kittanning, where hundreds of shoppers had gathered to catch a glimpse of the former president. Trump, making his way through the store, approached the woman and handed her a $100 bill, offering a bit of relief in the face of soaring food prices.
“Here, it’s going to go down a little bit,” Trump said with a smile, passing the bill to the grateful shopper. “Thank you so much,” she replied, clearly taken aback by the gesture. Trump, always quick with a quip, added, “We’ll do that for you from the White House, alright?” as he waved goodbye to the crowd, who erupted in applause.

But the day wasn’t just about groceries—Trump also supported the small business by picking up a large bag of popcorn. “Oh, look, I gotta get some. We gotta get it,” he said as he handed the bag over to his team.
When a customer informed him that their mother had just bought the same popcorn, Trump was intrigued. “Is this stuff good?” he asked, to which the shopper confirmed, “She says it’s the best.” Trump, clearly impressed, replied, “If it is, I’ll be sending… I’ll be in Washington D.C., hopefully in the Oval Office, I’ll send for popcorn.”

During his visit, Trump took time to speak with the owner of Sprankles Neighborhood Market about the impact of inflation on his business. The store owner detailed the struggles he and his team have faced over the last few years.
“Every year we went up, except for the last three years because of this inflation. Prices are up, but our sales are down, so we’ve had to get super creative on how to use our space,” he explained. Trump empathized, echoing the owner’s concerns, “Prices go up, yet your sales are down.”
Despite the challenges, the owner expressed pride in his staff and the close-knit community he has built. “Thankfully, I have a great crew, a great staff, my family, we work together,” he added.
