Unmasked: Former Obama Official & NYC City Council Member Have Ties To Antifa
A former Obama administration intelligence official who worked in both the Department of State and Defense has been unmasked with ties to Antifa. The former official, Salmah Rizvi, bailed out a human rights attorney that allegedly threw Molotov cocktails at police.
Rizv, told a judge that the alleged terrorist is her “best friend.” Rizvi is now an attorney at a DC law firm and she helped secure the release of her friend Urooj Rahman by paying the $250,000 bail.
Rahman was released to home confinement – monitored by GPS – despite arguments from prosecutors. The judge ignored the evidence shown by prosecutors that showed images of Rahman holding a Molotov cocktail in the passenger seat of a van that was found full of explosive materials.
The Washington Free Beacon reported:
U.S. District Judge Margo Brodie acknowledged the strong evidence against Rahman, who was also accused of distributing the incendiary devices to other rioters, but agreed to grant her bail due to the “willingness of family and friends to sign on as suretors,” according to a report from Law360.
Rizvi appeared in front of the court during Rahman’s Monday arraignment to certify her willingness to guarantee Rahman’s bail, according to a transcript of the proceedings obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. “Urooj Rahman is my best friend and I am an associate at the law firm Ropes & Gray in Washington, D.C.,” Rizvi told the court. “I earn $255,000 a year.”
Witnesses have also come forward and told police that Raham was handing out explosives to other rioters in Brooklyn.
It has been discovered that New York City council member, Justin Brannan has ties to the Urooj Rahman, journalist Any Ngo posted the deleted tweet, and posted a now-deleted twitter thread show he supports Antifa.
.@NYCCouncil member, @JustinBrannan, what is your relationship with firebombing terror suspect Urooj Rahman? You’ve deleted your tweets interacting with her. And have been deleting your tweets defending antifa, too. https://t.co/C6jx9idfl7 pic.twitter.com/tgVhmjKwj1
