VIDEO: Beto’s Political Stunt In Uvalde Mortifies Texans, ‘You Sick Son Of A…
Texans are fuming after Democrat candidate for governor Beto O’Rourke stormed a press conference giving an update on the shooting.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott was with Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin, Senator Ted Cruz, and other officials giving an update on the investigation into the horrific school shooting that has killed at 20 people most who are elementary school children.
As Abbott was speaking O’Rourke stormed to the front of the room yelling “you’re doing nothing, this is totally predictable.”
Immediately, officials, including Senator Ted Cruz, told Beto to get out and that “this isn’t the time to make a political statement.”
Beto refused to move and Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin had had enough and told him to get out of the auditorium. As police approached O’Rourke McLaughlin said, “I can’t believe you’re a sick son of a b**ch who would come to a deal like this to make a political issue.”
Police then escorted Beto out of the press conference.

In response to the outburst, Governor Abbott remained professional and said, “Every American has a responsibility … put aside personal agendas, think of somebody other than ourselves, think about the people who are hurt, and help those who have been hurt.”
“Families are broken apart. Hearts are forever shattered. All Texans are grieving with the people of Uvalde…Events like this, they tear at the fabric of a community. Our job is to ensure that the community is not going to be ripped apart,” Abbott added.
