Video: CNN Report Changes Language To Describe Illegal Immigrants And It’s Alarming
CNN has officially started changing the language they are using to refer to illegal immigrants and it should concern everyone. In a pro-open borders piece attacking ICE raids CNN used the term “Latinos” to refer to illegal immigrants. During the piece CNN even refused to use the word “undocumented” one time.
Fill-in host Ryan Nobles began the piece describing ICE raids in Mississippi and in perfect fake news CNN form went over the top.
A Mississippi town is still reeling months after a series of massive workplace immigration raids. Families say they’re living in fear and businesses are struggling to stay afloat after nearly 700 mostly Latino workers were arrested on the job back in August.
I’m sure the town was reeling and I’m sure local LEGAL citizens of this country were horrified to learn that 700 jobs were now available to people in this country legally (sarcasm).
Noble never mentioned that the “mostly Latino workers” were arrested for entering the country illegally. I know the word change seems small but not one time in the piece did Nobles or Nick Valencia who narrated the report used the term “undocumented.”
“Latinos make up nearly a quarter of the more than 3600 residents in Morton Mississippi,” Valencia remarked, “but looking at the streets, you wouldn’t be able to tell. As rumors spread of another raid, most have chosen to spend their days in hiding.”
Here’s what CNN didn’t tell you, on the August 7th raid 680 people were arrested, 40 people were criminally charged because they had been deported several times and kept returning to the USA, and of the 680 arrested 400 stolen United States citizens ID’s were recovered.
As for the processing plants USA Today reports that:
Managers knew workers wore ankle monitors to work as they waited on immigration hearings, the warrants say. One of the chicken companies was aware its workers used fraudulent Social Security numbers, a confidential informant told investigators. A human resources employee revealed an employee was hired on two occasions, under two different identities.
When a Guatemalan man encountered law enforcement in Texas, he admitted he had worked at one of the plants, Koch Foods, and reportedly said the plant knew about his immigration status and that there were “a lot of illegals working there.”
Valencia’s report on CNN made it sound like ICE was a gang of racists cops rounding up hispanics in Mississippi for no reason. I must say I wish the Feds charged the chicken processing plants and a local poll conducted in Mississippi supported this. According to the Clarion Ledger 68% of Mississippians wanted the plants to be charged, court documents were filed against the plants but, as of yet no charges have been filed.
Not only should illegal immigrants be arrested and deported but business supporting these illegal workers should be fined or prosecuted. Lastly, we need to pay attention to the liberals attempts to change the definition of words on us and we must shine the light on them when they do. CNN lumping illegal immigrants into the definition as legal citizens and residents is an attempt to polarize and demonize those that want to keep our country safe.
