VIDEO: Kellyanne Conway Puts Singer Taylor Swift In Her Place After Her Attack On President Trump
While accepting her MTV Video Music Award on Monday Taylor Swift attacked President Trump by tapping her wrist suggesting that she’s waiting for the White House to support the “Equality Act.” She boasted that she has half a million signatures on her petition to force the Presidents hand.
“At the end of this video there was a petition, and there still is a petition, for the Equality Act. It now has half a million signatures, which is five times the amount it would need to warrant a response from the White House,” Swift said.
Conway responded on Fox News and said:
“When Hollywood and when signers all go political it sounds in the moment like it’s very popular, and we’ve seen so many times where it backfires and blows up,” Conway said.
“But she’s also somebody who went up against President Trump head-to-head in the United States Senate race in Tennessee and lost handily,” Conway added, referencing Swift’s endorsement for Democratic Tennessee Senate candidate Phil Bredesen over Sen. Marsha Blackburn, the Republican who won in 2018.
But, Conway wasn’t done yet and mocked Swift using her own words against her.
I actually like the new Taylor Swift song that’s called ‘You Need To Calm Down,’ I can sing it for you, where she says, ‘If you say it on the street that’s a knockout, if you put it in a tweet that’s a cop-out,'” Conway said
It’s amazing what people will do for money, seriously Taylor? You are a fake and a fraud trying to make a name for yourself and be in the “in” crowd. You, my dear, are a poser and are in it for the money. Stop pretending these issues matter to you, the last time you got involved in politics you were put in your place, and Kellyanne Conway put you in your place again.
