Video: Michelle Obama’s Ego Hits All Time High Over Claim About The World Seeing Barack As “Their President”
Former First Lady Michelle Obama’s ego was at an all-time high on Tuesday when she uttered words about how the world feels about her husband.
Michelle Obama said on Tuesday that her husband Barack Obama could have built his presidential library anywhere in the world because “many” feel that Obama is “their president.”
Mrs. Obama was speaking at the Obama Foundation Summit at the Illinois Institute of Technology and was explaining why they chose to put the library in Chicago’s Jackson Park. The Obama Presidential Center will be close to the couple’s former home and close to Michelle’s childhood home.
“There’s power in the selection of Jackson Park,” the former first lady said. “Barack and I don’t do things incidentally. There’s a strategy.”
Yup like place spies in the White House.
Michelle continued to argue that the library could have been built outside the United States.
“Barack’s presidential library could have been anywhere in the world, because there are so many people who feel like he is their president,” she said. “New York wanted it. Hawaii wants it. Because it’s also an economic engine.”
Hopefully not an economic engine like his policies or that place is going under!
On the same day Michelle also took a swipe at ‘white folks’ who run from minorities. Obama said, “As families like ours — upstanding families like ours who were doing everything we were supposed to do and better — as we moved in, white folks moved out because they were afraid of what our families represented,” the former first lady said Tuesday at the Obama Foundation Summit in Chicago.
“I want to remind white folks that y’all were running from us … This family, with all the values that you read about, you were running from us. And you’re still running because we’re no different than the immigrant families that are moving in,” she continued. “The families that are coming from other places to try to do better. But, because we can so easily wash over who we really were — because of the color of our skin, because of the texture of our hair — that’s what divides countries, artificial things.”
Hey Michelle, not all of us can move into an $8 million home outside of Washington DC, have the secret service protecting us, and live behind a gate. The disdain that this woman has is unreal.
