Election In Deep Blue Houston Leave Democrats In Complete Shock
If Democrats were passing off Virginia as an isolated incident they may want to think again.
The Houston Chronicle is reporting that two anti-CRT candidates won seats on one of the nations largest school districts.
Even in Democrat strongholds like Houston, Texas Republicans flipped 6 of the 7 seats on the Houston Independent School Board.

From the Houston Chronicle:
Incumbents lost two of the four runoff elections for the Houston ISD board Saturday night, clearing the way for two new conservative trustees in the state’s largest public school district. The results mark the end of campaigns politicized by clashes over cultural talking points in what are traditionally viewed as nonpartisan races.
Pastor Kendall Baker beat Trustee Holly Maria Flynn Vilaseca by less than 100 votes to win the seat in District 6. In District 7, Trustee Anne Sung lost to former PTO President Bridget Wade.
Baker and Wade both garnered support from prominent Texas Republicans and spoke out in their campaigns against mask mandates and critical race theory in education.
Democrats are in shock and it’s just another sign that in 2022 the Democrats are about to see a backlash like they’ve never experienced.
The writing has been on the wall, testimony from a Virginia mom at a school board meeting in October explains why Democrats are in big trouble.
The mother explained that she pulled her children out of Loudoun County public schools after her 6 year old asked if she was “born evil” because she is white.
“We had specifically moved them out of LCPS due to the swift and uncompromising political agenda of Superintendents Williams, Ziegler and the school board had forced upon us. First, it was in the early spring of 2020 when my 6-year-old somberly came to me and asked me if she was born evil because she was a White person. Something she learned in a history lesson at school. Then, you kept the schools closed for a year and a half, despite the science indicating it was safe for kids to return,” the mother continued. “Now, you’ve covered up a rape, and arrested, humiliated and falsely accused parents of being domestic terrorists.”

Believe it or not a New York Times piece also highlighted the issue because it is really bad news for Democrats.
“I’m a Hillary-Biden voter,” said Glenn Miller, a lawyer from McLean, as he walked into a Yougnkin rally in southern Fairfax County on Saturday night where more than 1,000 people attended. The lawyer explained while working from home he heard his daughters teacher comment during a virtual lesson that white men are modern-day slaveholders. Those comments are what caused him to support Republican Glenn Youngkin.
there are a subset of parents who heard things on zoom or from our kids who simply tune out whenever there are “explainers” about why “CRT isn’t taught in the schools”
don’t care if you don’t have kids or it isn’t taught in your school. we believe our ears. that’s it. that’s all https://t.co/l168BCswO4
