Video Shows Right-Wing Live Streamer Being Flipped Off Then Shot In Face While Covering ICE Protests In Portland

The ongoing unrest surrounding Immigration and Customs Enforcement facilities has crossed into even darker territory, with what may be the first shooting tied to the anti-ICE riots in Portland. Since June 2025, Antifa-aligned activists and other agitators have effectively controlled the area around the ICE facility near downtown, operating with little fear of consequence. On Friday night, that pattern appeared to escalate again, this time into what witnesses describe as a drive-by shooting targeting right-wing livestreamers documenting the scene.

According to multiple accounts, the shooter was a woman who used what has been described as a non-lethal BB-type gun rather than a conventional firearm. Even so, at least one individual was struck multiple times in the face and arm, and others may have been hit as well. The distinction between “non-lethal” and lethal matters little in the moment, especially when victims initially believe they are facing a real gun. One of the livestreamers later said plainly, “I thought it was a real gun,” marking just how easily such an encounter could have ended far worse.


The incident occurred on Friday night, February 6, as right-wing activists livestreamed the ongoing protests and disruptions near the ICE facility. They reportedly became involved in a heated argument with a woman, during which one man allegedly kicked her vehicle. Later, the woman returned and allegedly carried out the drive-by attack, firing multiple shots before fleeing the scene, reportedly driving the wrong way to escape.

Internet sleuths quickly moved to identify the suspect, uncovering information about her vehicle, including allegedly stolen plates, her past anti-ICE activism, and her place of employment. A social media post attributed to a woman believed to be the shooter even alludes to carrying a real gun, further fueling concern. However, her identity has not been officially confirmed, and no charges have yet been announced.


This episode does not exist in isolation. Since June 2025, Portland Police Bureau officers have largely stood down as agitators have threatened, rioted, and physically attacked people entering or leaving the ICE facility. Organized activists regularly follow ICE vehicles, attempt to interfere with arrests, and engage in sustained harassment using bullhorns, fireworks, and intimidation tactics. Arrests have been rare, and prosecutions even rarer.

The same streamer targeted in Friday’s shooting was previously struck in the head with a rock in an unprovoked attack months earlier. Video evidence and the attacker’s identity were provided to police, yet the county prosecutor declined to file charges. Residents who have sought relief from the constant noise and chaos have been rebuffed as well, with city officials invoking “free speech” while ignoring basic time, place, and manner restrictions.
