The “fact-checkers” in the media went into overdrive after a recent Biden speech.

On March 20, 2022, Biden was speaking at a business roundtable event in Washington DC. In closing Biden referred to a “liberal world order.”

“You know, we are at an inflection point, I believe, in the world economy — not just the world economy, in the world.  It occurs every three or four generations,” Biden said.

“As one of — as one of the top military people said to me in a secure meeting the other day, 60 — 60 million people died between 1900 and 1946.  And since then, we’ve established a liberal world order, and that hadn’t happened in a long while.  A lot of people dying, but nowhere near the chaos. And now is a time when things are shifting.  We’re going to — there’s going to be a new world order out there, and we’ve got to lead it.  And we’ve got to unite the rest of the free world in doing it. So, anyway, I’m going to hush up.  Mary, fire away,” Biden concluded.

Those comments sent the “fact-checkers” into overdrive.

The term was trending on Twitter and they claimed Biden using the term was an “unfounded claim” only being promoted by conspiracy theorists.

 

Members of the media claimed that Joe wasn’t referring directly to a “new world order” despite that the fact that we all heard him say it.

Then, fact-checkers hinted the term is antisemitic.

The “New World Order” conspiracy theory first emerged in the 1990s and has links to antisemitic trope that Jewish people secretly control the world’s media, banks and governments.

As noted by the Anti-Defamation League, people who believe in this “New World Order” think that concentration camps have already been built in the U.S. and are ready to house “dissenters.” They also tend to believe that the government will soon declare martial law, possible under the guise of responding to a terrorist attack, and will then take people’s guns away.

It’s amazing how the drones on the left go bonkers when the cat is accidentally let out of the bag.
