Watch: Energy Secretary Interview Mocking Domestic Oil Production Is Haunting Joe Biden
As Biden announced that he will be banning oil imports from Russia he claimed that his energy policy does not have a negative impact on Americans or the price at the pump.
“It’s simply not true that my administration or policies are holding back domestic energy production,” Biden said.

As we previously reported, Biden paused all domestic oil leases on February 22 because he lost in federal court which was two days before the Russian incursion into Ukraine.
Back in November of 2021, gas prices were already headed to a seven-year high and the Biden administration was considering shutting down a pipeline in Michigan. A report we published in November of 2021 detailed how Former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, Biden’s energy secretary, predicted Sunday that heating prices will rise this winter regardless of the Biden administration’s decision on the pipeline. “Yeah, this is going to happen. It will be more expensive this year than last year,” Granholm told CNN.
During an interview with Bloomberg News Granholm had the audacity to laugh about increasing domestic oil production and inferred that Americans are just going to have to deal with it. Granholm thought the idea of increasing American oil production as prices crept up to $2.89 a gallon was “hilarious.”
Secretary of Energy is asked what her plan is to increase oil production in the US:
She laughs maniacally at him, says she can’t do anything, and tells him US consumers are at the mercy of a cartel called OPEC.
Biden energy policy is looking a lot like Carter energy policy. https://t.co/5JGJqENaud

Under the leadership of Joe Biden, gas prices started to climb.
Gas prices rose $1.14 under Biden before Putin invaded Ukraine because of Biden’s policies.
But instead of unleashing American energy, he is doubling down on his failed anti-energy agenda.

Human Event editor, Jack Posobiec believes what Biden is doing is intentional.
“The managed decline of the US has turned into a full-fledged freefall and these politicians are more interested in pointing fingers than doing a single thing to help the American people,” Posobiec wrote.
“Rush[Limbaugh] used to talk about how the managed decline of the US was a policy pushed by academics bc they thought if American power were diminished it would lead to a more stable world. It’s not incompetence it’s intent,” he added.
What Biden should be doing is announcing that he is rolling back his previous domestic energy-killing policies and letting the free market do what it does best.
