Watch – Biden Misses Date of Parkland Shooting by 100 Years…Staffers Worried
It was just a bad day full of ‘senior moments’ for President Joe Biden. He was giving a speech to celebrate the passage of his new gun laws when the father of one of the teens killed in the tragic shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School began heckling him.
Biden shouted at the father to “sit down.”
The left has used shootings like this to gain momentum in their crusade against guns in America. Biden went on in the speech to talk about how the nation was filled with “weapons of war.” The president called for more legislation to ban modern sporting rifles.
In this speech, President Biden made another significant gaffe while reading the teleprompter. He mistakenly said that the shooting in Parkland, Florida happened more than a century ago.
“Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, 1918, 17 dead, 17 injured,” Biden said while advocating for more red flag laws.
The Parkland shooting happened on Valentine’s Day in 2018. Biden was off by one hundred years.
How is Joe Biden this bad at reading off a teleprompter? He’s just 100 years off here. pic.twitter.com/3ebGflgUZn

That prompted the world’s wealthiest man, Elon Musk, to tweet: “Whoever controls the teleprompter is the real president.”
Who knows exactly how that mistake was made. Biden could have just really messed up without even knowing it, or he could have simply read a typo that was made on the teleprompter. But either way, it is another telling example of the ineptitude of the Biden administration.
Reports have been circulating that even Biden officials have spoken about their concerns over Biden’s age. A New York Times report released this past weekend cited aides saying that Biden has shown a decline in energy levels and now ‘shuffles’ when he walks. They are worried about him tripping over wires.
Staffers told the Times they find themselves holding their breath during Biden’s speaking engagements to see if he makes it to the end without a gaffe.
