Watch: Biden Talks Himself Right Into Hypocrisy During Embarrassing Presser
President Joe Biden talked himself right into hypocrisy during his press conference in Brussels and looked like a fool.
In the weeks leading up to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine Biden said that sanctions would deter Russia and could potentially stop an invasion. Now Biden is trying to say that the sanctions were never meant to deter an invasion despite the multiple claims from officials that they would.
.@MajorCBS Garrett with an immediate fact-check of Biden claiming no one ever said sanctions were a deterrent: “History will record…several administration officials representing the President of the United States, Joseph Biden, said, in fact, sanctions might deter…invasion.” pic.twitter.com/FDx1VNx6Qe

Biden’s entire press conference in Brussels was an embarrassment, he only took a few questions, and didn’t even give a reason for his trip.
The press tried to ask questions during a gaggle but an aide flipped out and started yelling, “no, no, no, no!”

Only people on the “list” were allowed to ask questions.

Of course, he had to screw something up…

At one point he lost total control of the press conference and started shouting at the press.

Biden did add that the USA would respond if Russia used chemical weapons in Ukraine.
“We would respond. We would respond if he uses it. The nature of the response would depend on the nature of the use,” Biden says when asked whether the US or NATO would respond with military action if Russia uses chemical weapons.
