Watch: Even CNN Slams Democrats Over How They Celebrated Signing Impeachment Articles
Democrats did everything they could to stay on message Wednesday but, at the very end, they just couldn’t keep it together. After Pelosi’s statement to the press naming her managers for the impeachment trial in the Senate, she stepped to a table to sign the impeachment articles and the Democrat’s behavior was even too much for Wolf Blitzer and his panel on CNN, even they were taken aback over how Pelosi and House Democrats behaved.
Pelosi who claimed that the impeachment process is “serious,” “somber,” and “prayful,” looked like a toddler at a birthday party while signing the articles of impeachment.
Before the signing Pelosi had just told reporters that the occasion was “so sad, so tragic for our country” and that impeachment is a “difficult time in our country’s history.”
She then headed for a table covered with a tablecloth that had “#DefendingDemocracy” printed on it, the impeachment documents laid out to be signed, and two dishes full of pens for her to use.
Pelosi smiling sat and signed the articles switching pens for every signature required to certify the articles of impeachment. Then the two dishes full of pens were swapped out for two more additional dishes stacked with pens.
Pelosi then took those pens and handed them out to the leaders of the Democrat Party in the House, Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY), and others.
Then Pelosi took this somber moment to pose for pictures with the pens.

Even the members of the CNN panel that were covering the event called the Democrats signing “jarring” and “off-message.” Wolf Blitzer and his panel were at times lost for words and visibly taken aback by the Democrat’s behavior. As the one CNN’s anchors said, for a party that went out of their way to make impeachment a sober “necessary” process, the Democrats looked really bad.

The White House responded also ripping the Democrats over their ridiculous behavior.
