Fox News Peter Doocy led Fauci right into a trap.
Dr. Fauci was briefing the press about the first detected case of the omicron coronavirus variant in the USA.
Fauci reported that an American traveling back from South Africa tested positive for the variant on November 29 and there are “fully vaccinated.” He also reported that the person is ok experiencing mild symptoms and is improving.

After the announcement Fauci took questions from the press.
When it was his turn Doocy asked Fauci if he had “advised the President about the possibility of new testing requirements for people coming into this country? Does not include everybody?”
Fauci gleefully answered, “The answer is yes.” He also reiterated that everyone entering the USA must get a COVID-19 test regardless of status.

The trap was set.
Doocy then asked, “But what about people who don’t take a plane and just–these border crossers coming in in huge numbers?”

Then Fauci lied.
