Watch: Hillary and Chelsea Guess the Family’s ‘Craziest Vacation’ on Fallon…Fun Fact, It Involves the Kremlin
Hillary Clinton makes a startling confession while interviewing on “The Tonight Show” with host Jimmy Fallon.
Clinton was on the show alongside her daughter, Chelsea.
Part of the show was a mother/daughter challenge led by Fallon The game is designed to see how well the two knew each other.
Chelsea had to put on a pair of headphones so she could not hear her mother’s answer to the question.
After Hillary answered, Chelsea would remove the headphones and answer the same question.
As Chelsea moved to the beat of the music from the headphones, Hillary was asked to tell Fallon about her “craziest family vacation memory.”
Hillary paused for a moment and said they had some interesting travel memories, but there was one that stood out.
“I hope she doesn’t remember this because it was pretty traumatic.”
“Those are the best stories,” Fallon interjected, laughing.
“We took her to Russia — Russia — when we went on a state visit when Bill was president, and there were the formal goodbyes —”
“So Bill and I were ushered into the Beast, the big limousine, to head to the airport, not knowing that we had left her behind,” Clinton continued.
The audience exploded with laughter and Fallon gasped, “Wow!”
“I mean, can you imagine?” Clinton asked, her eyes wide. “Leaving my only child in the Kremlin, especially with everything that has happened?”
Fallow had Chelsea remove the headphones. Fallon repeated the question, and Chelsea responded, “Oh gosh, now I wish we had been chased by a bear or something.”
“Close,” Fallon responded while laughing.
Chelsea pondered for a few more seconds then had her answer.
“When they left me at the Kremlin.”
Well, she appears to have survived the trauma. I wonder how Bill would have answered the same question. That’s for another show.
