Watch: Whoopi Goldberg Makes A Complete Fool Of Herself Over Pelosi Controversy
The View host, Whoopi Goldberg made a complete fool out of herself when she decided to wade into the controversy surrounding House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Catholic Archdiocese.
Goldberg was responding to the news that Archbishop Salvatore J. Cordileone notified House Speaker Pelosi that because of her pro-abortion stance and her refusal to explain her position to him he will no longer allow her to take communion.
“After numerous attempts to speak with Speaker Pelosi to help her understand the grave evil she is perpetrating, the scandal she is causing, and the danger to her own soul she is risking, I have determined that she is not to be admitted to Holy Communion,” he said.
Cordileone’s decision came after Pelosi pushed a pro-abortion bill through the House after a draft opinion overturning Roe vs. Wade was leaked to the press.
“Every woman, everywhere has the constitutional right to basic health care,” Pelosi said the day of the vote. The Texas law “is the most extreme, dangerous abortion ban in half a century, and its purpose is to destroy Roe v. Wade, and even refuses to make exceptions for cases of rape and incest. This ban necessitates codifying Roe v. Wade.”
“His Holiness, Pope Francis, in keeping with his predecessors, has likewise been quite clear and emphatic in teaching on the dignity of human life in the womb,” the archbishop wrote to Pelosi. “Please know that I stand ready to continue our conversation at any time, and will continue to offer up prayer and fasting for you,”
In response, Whoopi told the Archbishop to mind his business.
“The archbishop of San Francisco is calling for speaker Nancy Pelosi to be denied receiving Communion because of her pro-choice stance … this is not your job, dude. That is not up to you to make that decision,” the far left host said.
Actually, Whoopi that is his job.
