Why Is President Biden Ghosting Israel and Cozying Up to Iran?

It’s possible that President Biden needs to check his answering machine at his Oval Office desk some more. He has spent to much time away from the White House because of trips to his homes in Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and his trip to Kiawah Island in South Carolina, that maybe he is not getting all of his phone messages from work.

There was a disclosure in The Jerusalem Post last week that Israel is fearing due to the uncertainly around negotiations for a revived Iran nuclear deal. This ally to America is concerned that Iran will receive more resources and connections with the free world even though it has a status as one of the world’s leading sponsors of terrorism. 

Prime Minister Yair Lapid of Israel has been trying to schedule a meeting with President Biden during his trip to the United States for the UN General Assembly next month, but no connection has been made yet. Biden must not be checking his messages.
The Jerusalem Post reported, “Prime Minister Yair Lapid has requested a meeting with US President Joe Biden during his visit to the US for the UN General Assembly next month, amid deep concern in Jerusalem over an impending nuclear deal between Washington and Tehran.”

The article revealed that Lapid hopes to meet with Biden on September 20, the day that the US president is set to address the General Assembly, but no meeting has yet been confirmed. It gets worse, according to the article, “Lapid has yet to be able to speak to Biden on the phone, despite recent advances in Iran talks, according to multiple sources,” The Post noted.

Israel is America’s most important ally in the Middle East and they can’t get our president on the phone? All this is happening as we negotiate a huge deal with the Iranian regime?

What could Joe Biden possibly be thinking? The Post article continued, “At first, the White House cited Biden’s summer vacation,” the Post said, “but the president returned to Washington on Wednesday.”
