Woke Pastor Compares Nashville Shooter to Jesus – Watch
She’s a preacher, but she would not be welcome in most churches in America. Pastor Micah Louwagie is the newly installed woke preacher at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Fargo, North Dakota.
Louwagie is the woman who claims to be “trans” and prefers they/them pronouns. This past Sunday, she compared the Nashville shooter who killed three adults and three children to Jesus just before his own Crucifixion.
The pastor began the sermon by blaming the shooting at the Christian school on guns, saying that gun violence is the leading cause of death for children. This is obviously ignoring the millions of babies that die from abortions each year.
Louwagie ranted about how society had fixated on the shooter’s sexual identity instead of “focusing on ways this could’ve been prevented, such as gun control.” That led the pastor to pivot and start talking about all the “marginalized folks,” including those who claim to be transgender, who are victims of “powers and institutions that are literally killing them.”
“[T]hose of us with the least amount of privilege and power,” Louwagie stated, “need those who have more privilege and power than they do to physically place their bodies between them” and those who supposedly wish them harm.
Interestingly, she included herself in this community even as she spoke from a pulpit with people sitting in pews listening to her.
She even went after people who are supposed “allies,” who claim to support the “trans” community, but they “betray” them with a kiss just like Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus.
“The disciples were afraid to even be associated with Jesus, lest they suffer the same fate, lest their bodies be put at risk,” Louwagie continued. “I have observed that it is often the people with the most power and privilege who desert those they are called to defend when those people start getting harassed, beaten, arrested, targeted.”
The church Louwagie pastors has apparently not responded to requests for comment from the media.
I wondered if the mainline response to Nashville would be a little less crazy than usual, but nope, we've already got a tortured analogy linking Jesus' crucifixion to the transgender mass shooter pic.twitter.com/ULm1xi9BoV
