Alzuhairi Speaks At Trump Event
The Democrats’ messaging problem was on full display last week, and nowhere was it more evident than in Michigan, where Kamala Harris’s rally fell flat, to put it mildly.
At this stage in the race, Democrats are leaning heavily on emotional appeals, painting Trump as the ultimate villain, but what’s missing is a clear, relatable message on actual policy. The result? Many voters just aren’t buying what the Democrats are selling.
For all the accusations of Trump being anti-Muslim, recent polling and endorsements are telling a different story. In a surprising shift, Arab American voters, including local Muslim leaders in Michigan, are throwing their support behind Trump.
HOLY SMOKES. Trump was just endorsed by numerous Imams, mayors and Muslim community leaders in Michigan.

During a rally in Novi, Michigan, Trump welcomed endorsements from respected Imams and Muslim community leaders. Imam Belal Alzuhairi, one of the endorsing leaders, praised Trump for his commitment to peace, describing him as “a leader who promises peace, not war.”
Alzuhairi went on to say, “The bloodshed has to stop all over the world, and I think this man can make that happen.” For many of these leaders, Trump’s promises to end wars in the Middle East and Ukraine seem to resonate far more than Harris’s messaging does.
Meanwhile, Harris’s rally in Kalamazoo seemed like a caricature of the Democrats’ struggle to connect. Despite big names like Beyoncé and Michelle Obama attending, the event was a disappointment for many.

Harris was even booed by parts of the crowd, and the spectacle took a bizarre turn when an angry attendee, reportedly a “disappointed fan,” was seen shouting near a stroller. These optics aren’t doing the Democrats any favors, especially when Trump’s rallies are drawing in key groups who previously leaned left.
This is more than a momentary shift; it’s a crack in the Democrats’ coalition that should have their strategists concerned. For voters across the spectrum, it’s becoming clear who’s focused on concrete goals and who’s stuck in reactionary, ideological warfare.
