Allison Huynh Makes Big Announcement
In 2008, Allison Huynh was a driving force behind Big Tech’s support for former President Barack Obama. However, she has since shifted her allegiance, now backing former President Donald Trump over Obama’s former vice president, Joe Biden.
“I think Biden has been out of touch. He’s asleep at the wheel,” Huynh told the New York Post. In contrast, she believes Trump resonates with the nation’s concerns. “His rhetoric is entertaining. But the policies and politics make sense. I think Trump is engaging. I would like to hang out with Trump. He’s a really cool guy,” she said.
Huynh’s efforts in 2008 brought millions of dollars from tech moguls to Obama’s campaign. She was instrumental in rallying support for a candidate she saw as an outsider. However, she stated that such support will not extend to Biden in 2024 now that she is backing Trump.
“I was surprised when I met Donald Trump,” Huynh said. “He was light and funny and intelligent. The people there were down-to-earth. I was happy with how knowledgeable Trump is about what is going on with the country and the economy. He had the information. He is all there with the things that matter: education — his kids are well-educated — fighting crime, immigration, and business.”
The masses are waking up!

Huynh believes Trump understands the nation’s problems and has the solutions. She praised his 2016 Jobs Act, highlighting its encouragement of investment as crucial for sustaining the country. “Many people are coming to Trump for his good policies,” she said.
Huynh also expressed concern about urban policies, particularly in San Francisco, which she described as “a failed science experiment for super leftist ideas and ideals.” She criticized the city for its leniency towards drug use, violent attacks, and looting. “City officials and police just look the other way,” she lamented.
As an immigrant from Vietnam, Huynh emphasized the need to distinguish between legal and illegal immigrants. “I am all for hardworking immigrants, but not for open admission of immigrants. We have to differentiate between legal immigrants who come here and work hard and illegal immigrants who come here and commit crimes,” she said.
During an appearance on “Fox & Friends First,” Huynh voiced her disappointment with President Biden. “He’s allowed Big Tech as well as the looters to take over Silicon Valley. San Francisco has been the science experiment that’s gone awry. I wake up in the morning, there’s no grocery stores to go to, there’s no malls to take my teenage girls shopping to. The streets are not safe, there are more fentanyl users and dealers than high school students in our once great city,” she said.
She contrasted Biden’s approach to that of Trump, who she said has a record of economic growth. She criticized Obama for being overly cautious during his presidency, fearing that he might set a bad precedent for future Black leaders. In contrast, she said, “Trump was very specific with coming out with great ideas to allow people to grow great wealth.”
Huynh argues that the Biden administration stifles growth by targeting emerging technology companies and entrepreneurs. “Right now, it’s very hard in this country to make money unless you work for a Big Tech company. If you’re an emerging tech company, they’re driving you offshore,” she said. She believes that Biden’s policies are detrimental to startups and entrepreneurs, further hindering their ability to thrive.
