Biden Gives Statement On Devastation In NC
Hurricane Helene may have dissipated over the weekend, but not before leaving a trail of devastation that stretched across the southern U.S., battering states from Florida to North Carolina. After making landfall as a powerful Category 4 storm in Florida’s Big Bend region, with winds reaching 140 mph, Helene unleashed catastrophic flooding that has already claimed nearly 100 lives. In Tennessee, the failure of the Waterville Dam forced residents near Newport to flee for their lives. Entire communities are underwater, and recovery is nowhere in sight for millions.
Really bad timing for such a natural disaster. The President’s mind is pudding, and he’s in involuntary retirement.
Vice President is retarded and on the campaign trail.
Cabinet members are all morons focused on implementing gay race communism and importing the third world.

Yet, where’s the leadership in all of this? Where’s Joe Biden and Kamala Harris? Nowhere to be found. Once again, we see the Biden administration missing in action when disaster strikes. Whether it’s the toxic train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, or the catastrophic wildfires in Maui, which became the deadliest in a century, this administration has made one thing clear: when Americans are suffering, they drag their feet.
Asheville, North Carolina.
East Palestine, Ohio.
Lahaina, Hawaii.
The list is endless.

Biden’s absence during these crises is more than an oversight—it’s a pattern of neglect. His cognitive decline is on full display, and Kamala? Well, she doesn’t seem to have the faintest idea of what her job actually entails. Meanwhile, residents in Asheville, North Carolina, are staring down weeks without access to clean water, power, or communication. The incompetence and slow response have turned natural disasters into full-blown humanitarian crises under this administration’s watch.
Does Biden even know a hurricane hit? It’s a fair question at this point. While families are being torn apart by floodwaters and towns are left in ruins, the silence from the White House is deafening.

Reports from USA Today paint a grim picture. More than 2 million people remain without power across the Southeast, including over 430,000 in North Carolina. Flooding and landslides have trapped residents in their homes, and entire roads have been washed away. Cell service is down for over 250,000 people, leaving many cut off from rescue efforts. In Buncombe County alone, more than 1,000 people are unaccounted for, though officials hope that number will drop once communication is restored. But hope is a fragile thing in the wake of such devastation.
Hurricane Katrina style devastation.
The people of Appalachia deserve more help than what they’re getting. https://t.co/uXwKyBhVQU

North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper acknowledged the enormity of the disaster, calling it one of the worst storms in modern history for the state. Already, 11 people have died in North Carolina, and more are expected as rescue crews fight to reach those still trapped in flooded areas. But even as the situation worsens, the federal response feels like it’s stuck in slow motion, with Biden offering little more than token acknowledgments of the tragedy.
