Media Company VP Discusses Hiring Practices
Disney used to be the magic kingdom, but now it’s a DEI empire that’s continued to virtue signal just how woke it is, both through its execs and its continuously horrendous products.
However, the nature of DEI isn’t inclusion, it’s exclusion, and Disney has found itself on the business end of some lawsuits, including one from actress Gina Carano who was fired from Disney over what she and many see as disagreements with her politics and unwillingness to conform to Disney’s partisan culture.
The veil is being pulled back even further thanks to James O’Keefe and his squad of undercover journalists.
In his newest video, one of his journalists met with a Vice President of Business at Disney who claimed that its hiring practices are incredibly discriminatory, especially against white males. The man’s name is Michael Giordano, and while what he reveals is shocking, it’s probably not at all surprising given Disney’s reputation as being a politically radical company.

In the video, Giordano not only refuses to hire or promote white people, especially white males, but that it financially rewards executives for practicing DEI in the workplace. He also says that the company uses “code words and buzzwords” in order to avoid landing themselves in hot water, specifically discrimination lawsuits. However, Giordano believes that one of these lawsuits is inevitable.
These hiring practices come with goals. For instance, Giordano claims that Disney is attempting to hit a certain percentage of identities at various levels of the corporate ladder.
This lines up with claims made by a Disney whistleblower back in August 2023. Back then, a source told WDW Pro that DEI had completely infected the company to the point where they were punishing employees that weren’t woke yet rewarding the ones that were. This alleged practice effectively pushed out many employees that had diverse opinions, such as conservative-minded or moderately-minded people, until only the radically left remained.
“So if you went beyond not just filling out your Word doc where you had DEI requirements noted for your MBO document, let’s say, but instead you were actually on social media saying that you supported some sort of conservative value you were going to be brought into HR,” he explained. “And in doing this The Walt Disney Company seems to have eliminated the vast majority of their conservative employees and have turned the company into a monolithic kind of state where everyone there is either far to the left on the spectrum or they are a moderate or conservative in hiding.”
WDW Pro added, “The whistleblower says that if they had known what working at Disney would be like, it would have devastated them because they dreamed of working for Disney for so long. Once they received the job and they actually worked at Disney, it was a nightmare, and they had never worked at any company like this that had them do these things and tied it into their pay.”
Before that, employees penned a letter in 2022 begging Disney to stop an ongoing ideological battle with Florida over the “Parental Rights In Education” bill and change the “environment of fear” it was cultivating. The letter stated that the company was becoming increasingly uncomfortable to work for, especially for those with religious or conservative views.
In the letter, employees also cited the difference in how the company treats workers based on their political views. “Employees who want TWDC to make left-wing political statements are encouraged, while those of us who want the company to remain neutral can say so only in a whisper out of fear of professional retaliation,” they wrote. “The company we love seems to think we don’t exist or don’t belong here. This politicization of our corporate culture is damaging morale and causing many of us to feel our days with TWDC might be numbered.”
The letter also pointed out that the company’s actions might make “our more conservative customers feel similarly unwanted.”
Disney’s descent into a woke company has been undeniable. In fact, some of its executives have been very open and proud of bringing Disney down the path that it has. This once-great American institution has become a shell of its former self, acting more as a vehicle for political radicalism than an entertainment company.
O’Keefe noted in his video that he’s not done yet. Part 2 of his investigation will be released soon, and knowing O’Keefe’s style, what’s coming down the pipe will probably be even more devastating to Disney’s already-destroyed reputation.
