Rachel Dolezal Raking Now Working As Model
Rachel Dolezal, a former race faker who caused controversy when she posed as a black woman for over a decade, is now working as an OnlyFans model and teaching at an elementary school in Arizona.
The 44-year-old, who now goes by the name Nkechi Diallo, has been listed under payroll records as an after-school instructor at Sunrise Drive Elementary School, where she is making $19 an hour. Alongside her job at the school, Dolezal is also selling explicit content on the adult site OnlyFans for a monthly subscription fee of $9.99.
According to payroll records, Dolezal could be making as much as $1,220 a month from her posts on OnlyFans. In September 2021, one of her posts received 122 likes, which equated to $1,220. It is unclear how many subscribers she currently has, so her earnings could be even higher.
Dolezal’s OnlyFans page was launched in September 2021 and promised to feature “foot photos, hair tutorials, and fitness routines.” In addition to her online ventures, she has also sold homemade lollipops, Melanin Spectrum dolls, and even a $1,000 sculpture of an electric chair.
Photos shared on social media by the elementary school show Dolezal in the background, raising questions about her employment. However, she defended her position at the school, stating that side hustles are the only way she can earn a living, as she has been unable to get a job due to the scandal surrounding her fake race. In the past, Dolezal spent more than 10 years deceiving people into believing she was a black woman, even rising to become a chapter president of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
However, in 2015, Dolezal was “outed” as a white woman by a local news reporter in Washington. Her Montana parents, Ruthanne and Lawrence Dolezal, were both white. She was subsequently fired from her position with the NAACP and dismissed from her job as a teacher of Africana studies at Eastern Washington University. The scandal caused a national uproar, with many questioning her motives and calling for her to be held accountable for her deceit.
In 2018, Dolezal attempted to rebuild her image with a Netflix documentary, The Rachel Divide, and a memoir entitled In Full Color. However, things took a turn when she was charged with theft by welfare fraud, perjury, and false verification for public assistance in May 2018. Court documents alleged that she illegally received $8,747 in food assistance and $100 in childcare assistance from August 2015 through November 2017. In April 2019, Dolezal settled in court, agreeing to pay an undisclosed restitution and complete 120 hours of community service.
Dolezal’s story continues to attract attention, with many fascinated by her actions and beliefs. Some argue that she was a victim of mental illness and should be shown empathy, while others believe she should be held accountable for her fraud and illegal actions. In a new documentary about black beauty, titled Subjects of Desire, Dolezal blames her black ex-husband for “repressing” her and claims that the people who criticize her are “white supremacy folks.” She has also been accused of cultural appropriation and causing harm to the black community for her actions.
The controversy surrounding Rachel Dolezal and her current employment and OnlyFans career raises questions about forgiveness, redemption, and societal standards of beauty and race. Despite the scandal and backlash she has received, Dolezal continues to push the boundaries and express her identity as a “transracial” woman.
As she continues to make headlines and garner attention, it remains uncertain what the future holds for her and how she will navigate her public persona. Ultimately, her story serves as a reminder of the complexities and nuances of race and identity in today’s society.
