Fox News Media Creates ‘Fox Noticias’
FOX News Media is preparing to expand its programming with the launch of FOX Noticias, a Spanish-language news program set to premiere on October 15.
The one-hour show, which will air weekdays at 4 p.m. ET on FOX Deportes, aims to cater to the growing Hispanic audience in the U.S. Rachel Campos-Duffy, co-host of FOX & Friends Weekend, will take the helm as the show’s lead anchor, guiding viewers through headline-driven content with a focus on issues particularly relevant to the Hispanic community.
FOX News Senior Vice President John Sylvester highlighted the significance of this addition to the network’s lineup, noting that FOX News has long been a leading news source among Hispanic viewers. “We are proud to deliver new headline-driven content that focuses on the issues impacting the Hispanic community,” Sylvester said in a statement.
Campos-Duffy, who has a long-standing career in television and advocacy, expressed her excitement for the new venture.
“I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to host FOX Noticias,” she announced. “As the fastest growing electorate, accounting for nearly 20% of the population, the Hispanic American community is thriving, and I am proud to bring a new show that breaks down the news of the day with a focus on the kitchen table issues that matter most to our community.”
Her involvement in FOX Noticias is the latest step in a career that began in the public eye in 1994 when she appeared on MTV’s The Real World: San Francisco. Since then, Campos-Duffy has built a reputation as a television host and commentator, including her role on FOX & Friends Weekend.
She’s also known for her advocacy for limited government and free-market principles, serving as a spokesperson for the LIBRE Initiative, an organization that promotes economic freedom within the Hispanic community.
The new program will focus on a range of topics important to Hispanic viewers, including political developments, economic challenges, immigration, and cultural trends. The show will also feature expert commentary to provide depth to the issues discussed.
For those unable to catch the live broadcast, FOX Noticias will also be available as a podcast through FOX News Audio, ensuring it reaches as broad an audience as possible.
