Trump Unloads on Pirro Decision

The President just posted a scathing message on Truth Social. He says he disagrees “100%” with his own U.S. Attorney. This isn’t a quiet disagreement. It is a public fight over who broke the law at the Reflecting Pool.

Donald Trump wrote that he does not know what Jeanine Pirro was thinking. Pirro recently filed a motion to dismiss felony charges against David Hearn. Her filing blamed a contractor for the mess. According to reports, she stated the contractor’s flawed installation caused the damage.

Trump saw it differently. He called it “pure vandalism.” He pointed to grass with giant letters and other damaged areas. VANDALS were cited by him as the primary cause of the major damage, though he noted possible contractor difficulty. According to the Washington Examiner, Trump even posted video to support his claim.

The President told people to “Look for yourselves at the VANDALISM.” He said the material was cut with a knife or box cutter. He insists the government should not let this slide. This is a direct challenge to the legal team handling the case.

David Hearn pleaded not guilty to one felony count of property destruction. His lawyer says the case should never have been brought. Hearn told NBC News the water felt the same before and after he touched it. The charge involves more than $1,000 in alleged damage.

Yet, the legal team is struggling. Writing for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, a supervisor noted it is “difficult to attribute the widespread damage to the Reflecting Pool to vandalism. They admitted it is hard to prove this “beyond a reasonable doubt.” Pirro’s filing stated that the Department of the Interior failed to give full information. This failure “undermined the government’s ability to abide by these responsibilities.”

Trump says this excuse is not enough. He insists the damage was done by people with knives, not bad contractors. Trump’s post was described by The New York Post as clearly stating the grass featured “a big 86 47 emblazoned in giant letters on it. That detail suggests a political message, not a construction error.

When the government makes a mistake, they often try to hide it. They blame bad contractors or rush jobs. They say the timeline was tight for the America 250 celebration. But Trump is saying no. He says the evidence points to real criminals.

This fight shows that the President will not let his team hide behind bad paperwork. He is demanding that the truth come out. If a man with a knife cuts the sealant, he should pay. If the government fails to catch him, that is a failure of duty.

We need leaders who look at the facts. We need them to hold people accountable. Pirro’s office dropped the case because the proof seemed weak. But the President says the proof is right there for all to see. He wants the vandals caught, not let off the hook.

The date for the next court move is not clear. The number of people who cut the pool is not confirmed. But the question is simple: will the government protect the property, or will they let it go? The President has made his choice. Now he waits to see if his team will follow.
